Result for one of ten patients with infusion of high-dose thymidine at 75 g/m2/day in patient with advanced-stage cancer, measured in plasma, ten patients (seven females and three males), with advanced-stage cancer were entered in the study. The median age was 59 years (range 45-75 years). The following tumor types were included: three head and neck cancers, two colon cancers, one soft tissue sarcoma, and four melanomas.
